Meet Logan Ross

Logan Ross loves Barrie-Springwater-Oro-Medonte and hopes to earn your trust and support. She grew up in North Barrie and is proud to have lived in Springwater. She attended West Bayfield Elementary School and Barrie North Collegiate High School.

When not in the pool with the Barrie Trojans Swim Club, Logan could be found working at her parent’s restaurant on Bayfield Street after school. Her parents, Leonard and Cindy Bugeja, are local entrepreneurs and named their restaurant, Logan’s Golden Mile after her. As a Barrie staple, Logan’s famous all-day breakfast is still often talked about.

Logan also worked at her mother’s clothing store on Dunlop street. Between both family businesses, Logan learned the challenges that entrepreneurs face to create jobs, make payroll and deliver meaningful goods and products. A champion of small business, Logan will never support a job-killing carbon tax that will make life more expensive for people and businesses.

Involved since she was 15, Logan has volunteered on every local conservative campaign since 2006. She was the deputy campaign manager in the Simcoe-North byelection in 2015 and worked with the Ontario PC Barrie-Springwater-Oro-Medonte campaign team in 2018.

Passionate about her home, Logan loves boating in Kempenfelt Bay and attending the Elmvale Maple Syrup Festival. She was an intern in the criminal division of the Barrie Court House, has been a senior volunteer for Hockey Night in Barrie and worked in Patrick Brown’s constituency office.

Known for her hard work and tireless preparation, Logan knows how to win elections. She was asked by Manitoba’s now premier to be the party’s rural regional organizer for the Manitoba PC party in 2016. In that provincial election, the party won government and every seat in Logan’s rural area. Logan has also been a senior advisor to two Ontario PC leaders at Queen’s Park.

Having graduated with a diploma in Police Foundations from Algonquin College, Logan also attended the University of Guelph and studied Criminal Justice and Public Policy. She has participated in RCMP specialized bomb training exercises and has done many ride alongs with the OPP in Simcoe Country. She understands justice issues and will always fight for policies to keep our local communities safe from drugs and violence.

Logan lives with her husband, rabbit and adorable Old English Sheepdog named Paddington Bear. She helps manage her family real estate portfolio and is a senior high-profile management consultant.

She respectfully asks for your consideration and support and promises to always represent her home – Barrie-Springwater-Oro-Medonte.

With her local upbringing, experience, and passion, Logan pledges to always be accessible and fight for you and focusing on the issues that matter most to you and your family.
